Boosting your metabolism.....
Exercising... not just for a constant 30 minutes but instead 30 second intervals is an ideal way for people to boost their metabolism. I mean who wants to run for 30 minutes straight anyways? By doing that you are consuming more oxygen which is making your mitochondria work harder to burn energy.
Well, not everyone loves to exercise that is clear. But theres plenty of other ways to boost your metabolism aside from the interval work outs. For example, specific foods you consume can help your body burn through energy faster. Your omega-3s are a great way to boost your metabolism. Maybe make a nice dinner with tuna or even salmon. But trust me, not everyone enjoys eating fish, especially those types. So stay away from those and try eating flaxseeds, walnuts or even eggs. Eggs are my favorite way to ensure that I am helping my metabolism. The best part about eggs is you can make them anyway you want! Not only do they help boost metabolisms but they have a great source or protein that everyone should have.
As young adults our metabolisms are still fairly good..I would hope. But that isn't always going to last through your later adult years, so be ready!
